5. Troubleshooting
Code 6025: “Board id: input 4 write error” (Error)
Situation
Solution
Malfunction input board. The
projector can not write to the
installed input board.
Replace the input board.
Malfunction I²C communication on
the PMP board. Other input boards,
the Display board, the WARP module
and the Input & Communication unit
also have “Board id read errors”.
Remove/disconnect the other boards from the I²C communication line one by one and
check if this error remains. Replace the board which makes this error goes away. If none
of the boards is the cause of this error, replace the PMP board. See chapter XXXX, to
see which boards are connected to the same internal communication line.
Code 6026: “Board id: input 4 not calibrated” (Warning)
Situation
Solution
The installed input board has no
calibration values stored. The
projector will use default calibration
values for this input board.
No actions required. Parameters can be adjusted for the Analog Video applied on the
DVI connector. See projector’s user guide.
Code 6027: “Board id: input 4 type on wrong location” (Warning)
Situation
Solution
Board type data found on unusual
memory location
No further action needed. Board will operate normally.
Code 6028: “Board id: pmp unknown format” (Warning)
Situation
Solution
Old projector software installed. The
ID parameters of the pmp board
are written in a format which is not
known by the projector software.
Check if the version of the installed projector software is the latest available version. The
latest version can be downloaded from
https://my.barco.com
.
Corrupt projector software.
Reinstall the latest projector software.
Code 6029: “Board id: pmp not accessable” (Error)
Situation
Solution
Only the ID parameters of the pixel
mapping processor (PMP) board
and one of the other boards in the
projector are not accessible.
First troubleshoot the other “Board id” error. See troubleshooting checklist of the
corresponding error code.
The Controller can not access the
ID parameters of any board in the
projector. This may indicates a
malfunction I²C functionality on the
PMP board. Note that the PMP and
Controller are physical on the same
board located.
Replace the PMP board. See "Replacing the PMP board", page 156.
The Controller can not access the ID
parameters of the PMP but the ID
parameters of all other boards are
accessible.
Ignore this error message unless other functionality of the PMP fails as well. If so,
replace the PMP board.
Code 6030: “Board id: pmp read error” (Error)
Situation
Solution
Malfunction I²C communication on
the PMP board. Other input boards,
the Display board, the WARP module
and the Input & Communication unit
also have “Board id read errors”.
Remove/disconnect the other boards from the I²C communication line one by one and
check if this error remains. Replace the board which makes this error goes away. If none
of the boards is the cause of this error, replace the PMP board. See chapter XXXX, to
see which boards are connected to the same internal communication line.
