8. Lamp and lamp house

8.10 Lamp info module replacement

Preparations

Before starting the replacement procedure, the lamp house must be removed from the projector.

How to replace

1. Remove the installed lamp, see "Removing the xenon lamp from the lamp house", page 123.

Warning:

Take care for the safety precautions mentioned in that topic!

2. Remove

xation screws (1 and 2) of the lamp info cover (3).

3. Take off the cover from the inside.

4. Remove both

fi

xation screws (1 and 2) of the lamp info module, disconnect the cable. Take out the unit.

5. Insert a new module and insert the connection.

6. Turn in the

fi

xation screws.

7. Mount the cover and

fi

xate with both screws.

8. Install the lamp (see "Installing the xenon lamp in the lamp house", page 127 and insert the lamp house in the projector.
