4. Hook the float mounting tool through the float hanger hole by introducing the tool
from the center outward, lift the float and hook the float hanger notch over the pin.
~Note • When lifting the float, be careful not to apply excessive force to the
torque arm.
• Make sure the hanger is hooked over both sides of the pin.

Hook the float hanger over the pin while moving it forward the torque tube housing.

Hook the float hanger notch over the pin in the direction away from the torque tube
housing (direction indicated by an arrow in the Figure 1-20).
5. Fix the blind flange with a nut.
• Do not forget to put the gasket on.
