The batc h header m us t prec ede this field. The batc h c ontrol field defines the print job and applies
only to the batc h that im m ediately follows .
T he batch control fie ld ov e rride s the se ttings made at the printe r . For exam ple, the printer’s
c ut m ode is s et to dis abled; however, the batc h c ontrol field s pec ifies to c ut eac h tag, s o eac h
tag in the batc h is c ut.
T he batch control fie ld also ov e rride s se ttings made in the online configuration packe ts .
For exam ple, the Supply Setup Pac ket is s et for liner take-up m ode; however, the batc h c ontrol
field s pec ifies c ontinuous m ode, s o c ontinuous m ode is us ed for the batc h.

E1. E Batc h Control Field.
E2. feed_m ode Feed Mode. 0 is the default. For peel m ode, the m inim um
s upply length is 1.50 inc hes . Options :
0 Continuous Feed
1 On-Dem and
2 Liner take-up (optional)
E3. batc h_s ep Batc h Separator (s triped label in between batc hes ). 0 is the
default. Do not us e batc h s eparators with c ontinuous (non-
indexed) s upply. Options :
0 Does not print a s eparator
1 Prints a s eparator
2 Double-length s eparator – prints 2 tags
E4. print_m ult Num ber of tags ( 1 to 999 ) with the s am e im age. 1 is the default.
E5. m ulti_part Num ber of identic al parts on one tag ( 1 to 5 ). 1 is the default.
E6. c ut_m ode Enables or dis ables the optional c utter. 0 (does not c ut) is the
default. W e do not rec om m end c utting die c ut label s upply.
Options :
0 Does not c ut.
1 Cuts eac h tag.
2 Cuts in s trips , not eac h tag.
E7. c ut_m ult Num ber of tags to print before c utting. A c ut m ultiple of one c uts
after eac h tag. The range is 0 to 32,000.
0 is the default. The
c ut m ultiple is a m ultiple of the print quantity. If the c ut m ultiple
is three and the print quantity is 16, then five s ets of three tags
and one s et of one tag is produc ed.
Note : The las t tag in the batc h is always c ut, regardles s of the m ultiple.
