2.15 Board Temperature Alarm
The table describes the alarm and shows the alarm information presented to Users. For Users'
convenience, all alarms generated by the Media Gateway have the same standard structure,
including the fields shown in the table.
Table 2-14: Board Temperature Alarm
Description
The alarm is triggered when the temperature exceeds 55 degrees
Celsius and ceases when the temperature falls below 55 degrees Celsius
again.

Corrective Action
If set, check the ambient temperature and chassis ventilation. If the
ambient temperature is normal, clean the air filters and double check that
all the air buffles and blank panels are correctly placed in the chassis.
Finally, check for fan speed alarms to validate normal fan operation.
