3.5 Power Off
Shut off the power when not using the MD8470A. Turn off both the
main power switch on the rear panel and the power switch on the front
panel.
[Procedure]
1. End Windows using the method shown below.
•
From the Start menu on the Windows taskbar, select “Turn Off
Computer”
→
“Turn Off.”
•
Press the power switch on the front panel for one second or longer.
The power ON lamp (On) goes out and the standby lamp (Stby) lights
up. Keep this state when using the MD8470A immediately after
this.

If Windows cannot be ended using the method described above (when
Windows freezes, etc.), hold the power switch on the front panel pressed 5
seconds or longer. The power ON lamp (On) goes out and the standby
lamp (Stby) lights up.
2. When not using the MD8470A for a long time, press the main power
switch on the rear panel to turn the MD8470A Off (
»
side). The
standby lamp (Stby) goes out and the main power turns Off.

Power to the MD8470A is now fully turned Off. Remove the power plug
from the outlet for safety.
