2.2 Installation
Install the MD8470A after taking out it from the packing box and check-
ing its contents. This section describes how to install the MD8470A and
other caution notes.
2.2.1 Transport
Hold the grips attached on the right and left, and keep the device level
when transporting it.
CAUTION
1. Do not move when the power is ON. Internal circuits
may be damaged and cause a fire, electric shock or
accidents to occur.
2. Hold the grips attached on the right and left and keep
the device level when transporting it. Holding the
grip on only one side when transporting this equip-
ment places excessive force on internal precision
components and may result in damage.
2.2.2 Install location environment conditions
Install the MD8470A in a stable location with a temperature of +5 to
+40
°
C. Install rear and sides in a location with more than 10 cm sepa-
rating it from obstructions such as walls and peripheral devices so as not
to block the area around the exhaust air opening.
