3.4 When System Error Is Displayed

3.4.1

When temperature error is displayed

A system error display screen as shown in Fig.3.4.1-1 will be displayed if

the internal temperature of the MD8470A rises abnormally.

When the OK button on the screen is clicked or 60 seconds has elapsed af-

ter the error display screen is displayed, the MD8470A is forcibly set to

the standby state (Windows enters the turn off state).

When the MD8470A enters the standby state, check whether there is any

problem in the environment for the MD8470A.

Is the MD8470A being used in an environment out of the operating

temperature range (+5 to +40

°

C)?

•

Is the fan exhaust air opening located on the side of the MD8470A

plugged up?

The MD8470A may have failed if the error display screen is displayed

again, even when the operating environment has been improved.    Con-
