PSTN interface configuration
The PSTN input (CMK) simulates an analog telephone line. An analog dialer or security alarm system with
integrated analog dialer can be connected directly to this input. The AlphaCom XL will simulate the analog
alarm transmission to the central and receive the complete alarm message from the analog dialer.
On the PSTN input (CMK) we strongly advise to only connect TBR-21 certified / tested products.
In general when connecting non-certified / non-tested products there should be no problems. If you have any

In the setting
protocol
you can select which protocol the analog dialer transmits that is connected to the
PSTN input. It is not necessary to perform any changes to the settings in the PSTN dialer. Account number
and telephone number settings in the analog dialer can remain as they are.
