As long as dipswitch 2 is set to ON, the ALPHACOM XL only requires a valid login name, the password
box can be left empty. If dipswitch 2 is set to OFF ten a valid login name and login code must be entered.
In the AlphaCom XL two types of users can be programmed:
o
supervisor (standard user name „admin‟, no standard password)
o
user (standard user name „user‟, no standard password)
The supervisor is authorized to change programming and settings in the AlphaCom XL , and also read status
information.
The user is only authorized to activate the three outputs.
If a wrong user name / password is entered to many times, access to the integrated web browser is blocked
for several minutes, also messages received can be blocked depending on the programming. For details, see
webserver configuration.
After pressing OK, the following screen appears:
If the user name / password that was entered is invalid of dipswitch 3 is OFF, then a screen will appear that
access is denied/blocked.
