Webserver configuration
Webserver IP / port:
The IP address of the webserver is the same as the IP address of the AlphaCom XL (see ethernet
configuration) and it is not possible to change this setting. The port determines which TCP-port can be used
by webbrowsers to connect to the AlphaCom XL. The standard port is „80‟.
Access for users:
In this setting a user name and password can be programmed for the enduser. This user name and password
is used to gain access to the user menu and activate the output relays.
To limit remote access to certain external or internal computers it is possible to enter and ip/subnetmasker.
By entering settings in the „Access from ip/subnetmasker‟ you can limit the remote access. The factory
default settings are 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0, which means there is no limitation.
Access for supervisor:
In this settings it is possible to program a
user name
and
password
for the supervisor. The supervisor has the
authority to check and change settings of the AlphaCom XL.
To limit remote access to certain external or internal computers it is possible to enter and ip/subnetnetmasker
address. By entering settings in the „Access from ip/subnetmasker‟ you can limit the remote access. The
factory default settings are 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0, which means it is limited to access from an IP range:
192.168.0.0. until 192.168.0.255.
