Service manual AlphaCom XL transceiver Rev. 1.4 10-08-2011
Blz. 37/74
Configuring the inputs:
Each input can be programmed with its own name (maximum 15 characters). This name is sent together with
the SIA-HS alarmcode to the central station.
The SIA-HS alarmcode is the code that is sent to the central station when an alarm situation exists. The
restore message will automatically be sent once the alarm situation has been resolved or reset. In certain
situations the AlphaCom XL can also send tamper messages. When sending a tamper message the second
letter of the SIA-HS alarmcode is the letter „T‟, for instance BT (Burglary Trouble).
The settings EOL, NC and Skafor determine the resistor values used for the inputs.
The setting „enabled‟ determines whether the input is used or not. After programming all options for the
specific input it is important to activate it by selecting the „enabled‟ option per input.
The programming screen for the inputs 7 to 12 are identical to the settings used for inputs 1 to 6.
