"Top": If overrange condition is detected, the measurement range is
switched to the highest range. After which, the instrument switches to a
lower range if necessary.

"Stepwise": Measurement range is switched to the next range step until the
overrange condition stops.
● "Upshift Threshold": If overrange condition is detected, a time delay is set
before instrument switches the measurement range.
● "Downshift Threshold": Similar to "Upshift Threshold" behavior, but in the
underrange condition. If the condition persists shorter than the specified dura-
tion, the instrument does not switch to a lower measurement range .
● "Smallest Range": The instrument does not switch to a measurement range
lower than the defined setting.
3. Select "Reset Configuration" to reset the current autorange behavior to default val-
ues.

Modulation input
Available only with R&S NGU401 model.
The R&S NGU401 model provides waveform amplifying for modulating input source
such as a function generator via the
terminal at the rear panel.
The modulation input is completely isolated from channel and chassis ground which
allows you with more flexibility to connect different input sources. Max allowed voltage
with respective to channel ground or chassis ground is 250 V peak.
