Getting Started
Powering Up
Connecting the Line Cord

The AC inp u t on t he back of t he digitizer is a un iver sal AC inpu t th at
accepts n omin al lin e volt ages in th e r an ge of 100 VAC t o 240 VAC at 240
volt amp er es. The lin e fr equ en cy may be eit her 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
The detachable power cord may be used as an emergency disconnect
device. In rack installations or other installations with a master power
switch for the rack or bench, the master switch may be used as an
emergency disconnect device. Do not position the digitizer so that the
power cord, master switch or other emergency disconnect device is
inaccessible.
Applying Power

You may alr eady h ave con n ect ed your LAN or USB in t er face cable; if n ot,
you may d o so at t his time.

is app lied , r etur n t he u n it t o Agilen t for r epair.

when u np lu gged ; it will r etu r n to t hat st at e when plu gged in again .
WA R N I N G
FIRE HAZARD Use only the power cord that was supplied with your
instrument. Using other types of power cords may cause overheating of
the power cord, resulting in fire.
SHOCK HAZARD The power cord provides a chassis ground through a
third conductor. Be certain that your power outlet is of the
three-conductor type with the correct pin connected to earth ground.
