Description
This p roced ur e checks t he inp u t chan n el n oise of t he digitizer. This t est
does n ot measur e a war r an ted specification or char act er istic. However, it
is u sed to ver ify th at th e cir cu itr y in th e d igitizer is fu n ction in g p rop er ly.
The inp ut chan n el n oise fun ction al test con sists of d igitizin g a r ecor d of
d at a with t he inp ut chan n els ter min at ed with 50 t er min ation s an d
measu r in g th e Vr ms value of th e chan n el inpu t n oise. The inp u t n oise is
measu r ed by t he digitizer usin g t he On Boar d Measu r emen t cap ability t o
calculate t he Vr ms valu e of th e r ecor d. This measu r ed valu e is comp ar ed
t o t he exp ect ed valu e of the inp u t chan n el n oise fu n ction al test limit.
