Owner’s Guide
Selecting the appropriate fi nger cuff size
Finger cuff s are available in three sizes: small (white), medium (beige) and
large (blue). A cuff size guide is included to indicate which finger cuff size is
appropriate.
To obtain good transmission of pressure from the air bladder to the
underlying tissues, both sides of the air bladder should just make contact.

Wrapping the cuff correctly
A finger cuff should be wrapped around the middle phalanx of a finger. Best
results are obtained on the middle finger and the ring finger although the
index finger can be used almost equally well. Finger cuff s are not designed
for application to the thumb. Only apply a finger cuff to the thumb when it
is impossible to measure finger arterial pressure on any other finger and
be aware that incorrect blood pressure readings may result.
