1.
In the navigation pane, select
Analysis
Multicomponent Plot
.
Note:
If no data are displayed, click
Analyze
.
2.
Display the unknown wells one at a time in the Multicomponent Plot screen:
a.
Click the
View Plate Layout
tab.
b.
Select one well in the plate layout; the Multicomponent Plot shows the well data.
Note:
If you select multiple wells, the Multicomponent Plot screen displays the
data for all selected wells simultaneously.
3.
In the Plot Color drop-down list, select
Dye
.
4.
Click
(Show a legend for the plot).
Note:
This is a toggle button. When the legend is displayed, the button changes to
Hide the plot legend.
5.
View the FAM dye signal. In the example experiment, the FAM dye signal increases
throughout the PCR process, which indicates normal amplification.
6.
View the ROX dye signal. In the example experiment, the ROX dye signal is
constant throughout the PCR process, which indicates typical data.
