In the Save Experiment dialog box, enter
Comparative Ct Example Setup.eds
in
the File name drop-down list, then click
Save
. The example experiment is saved and
closed, and you are returned to the Home screen.
IMPORTANT!
Do not save the experiment using the default file name. Doing so will
overwrite the example experiment already present in the experiments folder.
Note:
By default, the example experiment is saved to the
<drive>
:\Applied Biosystems\
<software name>
\experiments folder.

When you design your own comparative C

experiment:
• In the Review Plate Layout for Experiment window, select the appropriate exit option:

To change the:
– Save location for a specific experiment – Navigate to the desired location using
the Save Experiment dialog box.
– Default save location – Select

, then select the
Defaults
tab.
In the Data Folder field, browse to then select the desired location.

Save and close the experiment without making any
further changes or starting the run.
Start Run for This Experiment
Save the experiment and start the run. Make sure the
reaction plate is loaded in the instrument.
Edit Plate Layout
Use advanced setup to edit the plate layout.
Create Another Experiment
Using the Design Wizard
Save and close the current experiment, then create
another experiment using the Design Wizard.
Return to the Wizard
Return to the experiment to make changes using the
Design Wizard.
