Reengineering in the Communication Management Tool
8.5.4.1
Checking and updating DNP3 points
If DNP3 is used, the migrated DNP3 point list should for most part correspond to the
configuration made in the old IED.

Check the point list and verify that all the point types correspond to the old
configuration and DNP3 master.

Analog input objects

Counter objects

If some points have different point addresses or other mapping attributes, adjust
them in the Communication Management tool.

Add the possible missing points in the migrated configuration by taking them
back to use in the Communication Management tool.
