Second barcode priority
– The software is capable to read two barcodes at the same time. If
activated, the second barcode will be the barcode used for slide identification.
Note:
When having two barcodes on the slide, barcode layout must be
consequential.

Resize image
– Label imaged is downsized to 1:4 before barcode reading
•
Apply erode algorithm
– The
Erode
algorithm is run before barcode reading. It is a useful
function for reading 2D barcode types, since the algorithm completes the scuffed and faded
areas of the barcode by applying the morphological erode filter to an image. This filter
widens and enhances bright areas of the image
•
Exclude check digit
– Checksum value is ignored when reading
