Adding a WX
Switch to the
Network Plan
You can use any of the following methods to add a WX switch to a
network plan:
Allow 3WXM to create the switch as part of RF planning.
Use the Create Wireless Switch wizard.
Copy and paste a switch that is already in the network plan.
Upload the switch from the network.
Import the XML configuration file for the switch.

Select the Planning tool bar option and use the instructions in “Planning
the 3Com Mobility System” on page 75.

Select the Configuration tool bar option.

In the Organizer panel, select the network plan name.

In the Task List panel, select Create Wireless Switch.
