Adding a WX
Switch to the
Network Plan
You can use any of the following methods to add a WX switch to a
network plan:
„
Allow 3WXM to create the switch as part of RF planning.
„
Use the Create Wireless Switch wizard.
„
Copy and paste a switch that is already in the network plan.
„
Upload the switch from the network.
„
Import the XML configuration file for the switch.

the 3Com Mobility System” on page 75.

Wireless Switch
Wizard
1 Select the Configuration tool bar option.
2 In the Organizer panel, select the network plan name.
3 In the Task List panel, select Create Wireless Switch.
4 Go to “Using the Create Wireless Switch Wizard” on page 173.
