Note: If you disable HTTP in the Service Access Control screen, then the OLT blocks all HTTP
connection attempts.
44.7.3.1 HTTPS Example
If you haven’t changed the default HTTPS port on the OLT, then in your browser enter “https://OLT IP
Address/” as the web site address where “OLT IP Address” is the IP address or domain name of the OLT
you wish to access.

When you attempt to access the OLT HTTPS server, a Windows dialog box pops up asking if you trust the
server certificate.
You see the following Security Alert screen in Internet Explorer. Select Yes to proceed to the web
configurator login screen; if you select No , then web configurator access is blocked.

When you attempt to access the OLT HTTPS server, a screen with the message "There is a problem with
this website's security certificate." may display. If that is the case, click
Continue to this website (not
recommended) to proceed to the web configurator login screen.
