1. INTRODUCTION
The ZT 6631 is a Super VGA PCI interface for the ZT 6500 Single Board Computer with
Pentium
®
processor. The ZT 6631 utilizes the Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI)
bus to give exceptional video performance. The PCI bus supports 32 bits of data and
runs at speeds up to 33 MHz giving it a theoretical bandwidth of 132 Mbytes/s.
The ZT 6631 is based on a 64 bit GUI VGA controller which incorporates a Bit Block
Transfer (BitBLT) engine and a 24-bit true-color DAC. The ZT 6631 can support display
resolutions up to 1280 x 1024 and color modes with up to 16.8 million colors. The
ZT 6631 can be ordered with up to 4 Mbytes of video DRAM allowing it to support
display resolutions up to 1280 x 1024 x 64K colors.
