the ZT 6631. A block diagram of the ZT 6631 is shown below.

Functional Block Diagram

CPU INTERFACE

The ZT 6631 connects to the host CPU through a CompactPCI card cage. The interface
consists of a 32-bit data/address bus and various control signals for PCI transfers.

The ZT 6631 supports bus speeds up to 33 MHz, giving a theoretical bandwidth of
132 Mbytes per second. The PCI bus allows the ZT 6631 to support the most
demanding graphic applications while not removing bandwidth from the backplane bus.
