Upgrading
the
Version
Only
the
user
admin
can
upgrade
the
version.
The
device
can
be
upgraded
in
the
following
methods:
z
TFTP
upgrade:
The
upgrade
file
is
transferred
through
TFTP
using
the
TFTPServer
tool.
z
FTP
upgrade:
The
upgrade
file
is
transferred
through
FTP
using
the
FTPServer
tool.
z
Web
upgrade:
Software
is
upgraded
through
the
web
interface.

upgrade,
refer
to
the
Release
Notes
that
comes
along
with
the
version.
The
following
sections
only
describe
how
to
perform
local
upgrade.

Local
upgrade:
The
system
is
locally
upgraded
through
the
upgrade
file
in
the
USB
storage
device.
For
details
about
how
to
operate
the
USB
storage
device,
refer
to
System
Backup
.
CAUTION
！
z
During
upgrade,
ensure
that
the
device
is
powered
on
all
the
time.
If
the
device
is
subject
to
a
risk
of
frequent
power
‐
off,
prepare
a
UPS
in
advance.
z
Before
performing
local
upgrade,
copy
the
correct
upgrade
file
to
the
root
directory
of
the
USB
storage
device;
otherwise,
the
local
upgrade
will
fail.
After
the
upgrade
is
complete,
the
system
automatically
restarts.
