Specifying the Selected Channels
Selecting a Channel (Select)
After the desired channel module is highlighted by pressing the Channel Selector button,
the channel is selected by pressing the
Select
button. All other channels are unselected.
The channel name is displayed with a green background to indicate the channel is
selected.
Performing a Simultaneous Select (Simul Select)
To select more than one channel at a time, press the
Simul Select
button. Then press the
desired Channel Selector. Repeat this step for each channel to be simultaneously selected.
When complete, press
Simul Select
. Pressing
Select
on a channel already selected
deselects the channel.
The next time
Select
is pressed only the highlighted channel module is selected; all others
are “unselected.”
Specifying the Unselected Channel Audio Destination
If your console is configured with auxiliary audio speakers using the Monitor A/B audio
paths (such as the Zetron Model 27 Speaker Panel), you may direct the audio from
unselected channels to one of three destinations: the console Unselect speaker; Monitor A
speaker; or Monitor B speaker.
The
Monitr A
and
Monitr B
buttons are used to select the auxiliary speaker output.
Pressing
Monitr A
over the highlighted channel redirects unselected channel audio to the
Monitor A audio path. The volume setting for the channel displays with a green
background color. Pressing
Monitr A
again returns audio to the standard unselect speaker
and the volume display returns to the normal background.
Pressing
Monitr B
over the highlighted channel redirects unselected channel audio to the
Monitor B audio path. The volume setting for the channel displays with a dark blue
background color. Pressing
Monitr B
again returns audio to the standard unselect speaker
and the volume display returns to the normal background.
