This function is intended to let the user clean the touch area with the certainty of not
triggering unwanted actions.
A message can be shown during the cleaning state. When the timeout is about to end,
it is also possible to make this message blink or to make the device beep (or both).
ETS PARAMETERISATION
After enabling “
Cleaning function
” (see section 2.2.9) a new tab will be incorporated
into the tree on the left.

This screen contains the following parameters:
Time to exit cleaning status
: timeout to deactivate the cleaning function,
once triggered. Range: from 5 to 65535 seconds (15 by default).
How to show cleaning status
: sets whether to show a message during the
cleaning state. The options are: “Do nothing” and “Display message”.
When the latter is selected the following parameters appear:
Message
: textbox to enter the desired message. Note that one Message
textbox will appear per enabled language (see section 2.2.7).
Notify expiration?
: sets whether to notify the timeout expiration or not.
The options are: “No”, “Blink message”, “Play sound” and “Both”. When
any of the three later options is selected, a new parameter shows up:

Time before notifying the expiration
: sets when the notification
should start once started the cleaning function (5 to 65535 seconds;
10 by default).
The “
[General] Cleaning Function
” one-bit object triggers the cleaning function when
it receives a “1” from the KNX bus.
