Get the device information
Determine the hardware revision status under “Device info”. In this example:

Decide on further action
If
Hardware Revision 1
is displayed, the lamp can be replaced with a new
lamp of the same type (lamp type A).

You will need Maintenance Package 1 for this.
If you want to replace the old halogen lamp with a new type B lamp, a
complete update of the electronics is required. In this case, please contact
the ZEISS Service department. The device must be returned to Carl Zeiss
Spectroscopy GmbH for maintenance.
If
Hardware Revision 2
is displayed, the lamp can be replaced with a new
lamp (type B).

Hardware Revision 3
is displayed, the lamp can be replaced with a new
lamp (type B).
