Replacing the halogen lamp
Lamp Replacement and Calibration Corona extreme
4.4 Replacing halogen lamp – Hardware Revision 2
•
The base plate has been removed and placed on an ESD base
(see section “4.2 Opening the housing” on page 20).
•
If you have not already done so, put the following spare parts ready:

Disconnect the plug connections
Disconnect the lamp cable

from the halogen lamp

Disconnect the lamp cable plug

from the connector / jack

on the lamp
board. If necessary, use a slot-head screwdriver to unscrew the connection.
Proceed very carefully.

Remove the lamp cable
Open the two cable clips

from the cable clips.

NOTE:
Some type A lamps are installed
without the lower lamp holder
ring.
In this case, the lamp is replaced
as described here, but without
the lower lamp holder ring.
