Printing Screen Images «For procedures, see chapter 9»
You can print screen images on a USB printer or network printer.
Saving and Loading Data «For procedures, see chapter 10»
You can save and load various types of data from the internal hard disk, CF card, or
USB memory. You can also copy or delete the saved files and create directories.
Network Connection «For procedures, see chapter 11»
The VB8300 supports file server functions (Samba server and FTP server).
Samba Server
You can upload and download files from the VB8300 internal hard disk or USB memory
or CF that is connected to the VB8300 from a Windows network client (PC running
Windows).
Samba is a server application that provides file services and print services. By installing
Samba on a machine running UNIX or Linux OS, the data on the machine becomes
accessible from a Windows network client.
FTP Server
You can upload or download files from the VB8300 internal hard disk by accessing the
VB8300 using FTP from a PC on the network.
This function can be used on a PC running an FTP client function.
Preset of Settings «For procedures, see section 12.2»
You can save the settings as a preset and set the VB8300 back to the preset settings by
pressing a single key.
Initializing Settings «For procedures, see section 12.3»
You can reset the settings to factory default settings.
Turning ON/OFF of the Display «For procedures, see section 12.4.»
You can turn the display OFF by turning the backlight OFF when the display does not
need to be turned ON.
Turning Key Lock ON/OFF «For procedures, see section 12.5.»
You can disable setup operations using the front panel keys (lock the keys) excluding the
operation of turning key lock OFF.
Displaying the Error Log «For procedures, see section 12.6.»
Error messages can be listed in the order of occurrence.
Trigger Ready Output «For procedures, see section 13.1»
When the start trigger for generating waveforms is set to an external signal, the signal
indicating the trigger-wait state is output from the CLOCK READY OUT terminal on the
rear panel.
