Explanation
Multiple waveform data files can be loaded to the waveform memory of each output
terminal set according to the order of registrations in the sequence list that you edited.
This section assumes that the sequence list data is already loaded in the VB8300. Carry
out the procedure in this section after loading the sequence list according to section 7.1.
In addition, all of the waveform data registered in the sequence list must be stored in the
VB8300 internal hard disk, CF card, or USB memory.
Editing the Element
Adding an Element
A blank line is added to the element selected number. The selected element moves to
the next number. The subsequent element numbers all shift back by 1.
• A total of 128 elements can be added. However, if the waveform data length of all the
elements reaches the memory length of the VB8300 model that you are using, no
more elements can be added.
• The following parameters are entered for the blank line that is added
• Waveform data (Element box): Blank
• Data length (Length box): Blank
• Repeat count (Repeat box): 1
• Whether to wait for the sequence trigger (Wait Trig box): OFF
Editing the Element
• Waveform data
You can select either of the following choices for each element.
No Sig. Period
•
Registered as a no signal period (period with no waveform data).
•
You can set the data length. Set the length in the range of 256 to 65535 points.
File
•
You can select a waveform data file. The name of the selected file appears in the sequence
list.
•
You cannot change the data length. It is set to the data length of the selected waveform data.
• Repeat Count
For each element, you can set the repeat count.
Infin.
The repeat count is set to infinite. Waveform is generated repeatedly until you stop waveform
generation.
Times
After repeating the specified number of counts, waveform generation moves to the next
element.
Selectable range: 1 to 65536
Default value: 1
However, if you selected the last element (shows (Go to Top)) in the sequence list,
select either of the following choices.
1time
After generating the waveform according to the sequence list once, waveform generation
stops.
Infin.
The repeat count is set to infinite. Waveform is generated repeatedly by returning to the top
of the sequence list (Element No. 1) until you stop waveform generation.
