Adjustment procedure
1.
Adjust the TA120E after 30 minutes of warm-up.
2.
Set the output frequency of the 8657B to 300 kHz, and the center frequency of
the MS2601 to 300 kHz.
3.
Set the center frequency to the frequency of the peak value that is actually
measured on the MS2601 at 300 kHz. Consider the peak value at this point to
be A.
4.
Set the output frequency of the 8657B to 5.16 MHz, and the center frequency of
the MS2601 to 5.16 MHz.
5.
Set the center frequency to the frequency of the peak value that is actually
measured on the MS2601 at 5.16 MHz. Consider the peak value at this point to
be B.
6.
Turn the equalizer adjustment trimmer
(EQLZ ADJUST) on the rear panel of
the TA120E using a flat-head screwdriver and adjust the B value so that B – A is
within 3.2
±
0.1 dB.
The equalizer adjustment trimmer
is located inside the case. Insert a flat-head
screwdriver into the EQLZ ADJUST hole on the rear panel and turn the adjustment
trimmer
