n Auto acknowledge
–
With this object the write access is only possible when the EtherCAT coupler is in
PreOp or SafeOp state. In Op state write access is denied.
– With Auto acknowledge = 0 per module the corresponding interrupt counter is
increased by 1. Once you acknowledge the interrupt, the interrupt counter is
decreased by 1. If there are more modules with a pending interrupt, by the write
SDO access always the most recent interrupt is acknowledged (last in - first out).
– With Auto acknowledge = 1 each interrupt is automatically acknowledged by the
EtherCAT coupler. In this mode the diagnostics data were always overwritten by
new interrupts. Default setting is Auto acknowledge = 1. For continuous use you
should set Auto acknowledge = 1.

Behavior when BASP ( B efehls- A usgabe- Sp erre i.e. command output disable) is
activated
– With Default values = 0 and activated BASP all module outputs are switched off.
– With Default values = 1 and activated BASP, the last states of the outputs are
retained.
Please note that this represents a potentially hazardous operating condi-
tion. This should only be used for test purposes respectively for trouble-
shooting.

– In operating mode Normal mode , the EtherCAT coupler is backward compatible
with the previous version and FSoE safety modules are not supported.
– In operating mode Enhanced mode , the EtherCAT coupler is not backward com-
patible with the previous version and FSoE safety modules are supported.
