Chapter 8 Test
8-1 Test Function
The test function runs the screen data in Builder, allowing the operation
of the screen to be checked.
Offline tests of the display of functional objects can be performed by
pressing buttons and changing address values.
Executing the test
1. Save the project and screen before executing the test.
2. Select [Test] from the [Tools] menu.
3. The [Test] dialog box is displayed.
4. Set the options of the test function.

Starts the Shared memory batch monitor and Test screen
simultaneously. For details, refer to “8-3 Shared Memory Batch
Monitor”.
2) Minimize
Builder
Minimizes Builder when executing the test function.

Start from the
current screen
Starts the test from the front screen displayed in Builder.
Remove the checkmark to commence the test from the startup
page set in the [Initial Setting] tab of the [Run parameter
setting] in the [Settings] menu.
5. Click the [Start] button to activate the test function and commence the
testing.

If the project or screen has not been saved before executing the test, the
confirmation dialog is displayed to save the data when selecting [Test] from
the [Tools] menu. Save the data when executing a test.
