3. Slowly tilt the engine down.

1. Push the power tilt switch “

” (up) until

the outboard motor is supported by the
tilt rod and the tilt support knob becomes
free.

2. Pull out the tilt support knob.

3. Push the power tilt switch “

” (down) to

lower the outboard motor to the desired
position.
