Removing Media Jams

Printer Jams and Troubleshooting

Duplex Unit Jams

Open the duplex unit top cover.

Remove the jammed media.

Close the duplex unit top cover.

If there still is a jam

message, open the

duplex unit lower cover.

Remove the jammed media by pulling it
toward you.

Close the duplex unit lower cover.

If there still is a jam message, open the
duplex unit lower cover and paper
guide.

Caution:

Open the paper guide using the

inner paper guide tab to avoid damaging
the duplex unit.

Lift the inner paper guide.

Remove the jammed media by pulling it
toward you.

If the media came out easily, skip ahead to
step 16.
