RAP 9.0: RAM Test

This RAP tests the WorkCentre’s static
and dynamic RAM.

The WorkCentre’s static and dynamic
ram is tested during system startup.
However, you can run a RAM test from
the service menu.

1. Check the output of the Ni-Metal

battery (RAP 8.0: Ni-Metal
Battery on page 2-38).

2. Power on the machine.

3. In the Service Menu, perform the

RAM test.

Result:Test passed?

No:

Replace the main circuit board

(REP 5.1.2: Main Board on page
4-39).

Yes:

End of RAP.
