RAP 3.3: Paper Eject from
Printer
This RAP will help isolate media eject
problems in the printer (exit guide and
eject roller assembly).
Most media eject problems occur when
the exit guide is not installed correctly.
Make sure the exit guide tabs are seated
correctly in the printer.
Check the exit guide wheels. They should
turn without any resistance.
Check the eject roller assembly. It should
rotate freely in one direction - towards
the rear of the printer. Check the “tickler”
rollers to ensure that no ticklers are
broken or missing.
If paper still jams on exiting, replace the
exit guide. See REP 2.1.1: Exit Guide on
page 4-4.
If this does not correct the problem,
replace the eject roller assembly. See
REP 2.1.2: Eject Roller Assembly on
page 4-5.

replace the printer. See REP 2.1.18:
