Removal
1.
Perform the following:
a.

Remove the retard pad bracket mounting
screw (Figure 4-9).

3.
Remove the bracket and spring.
4.
Remove the retard pad.

Replacement
1.
Position the Retard Pad in the printer.
2.
Position the retard bracket spring as shown in Figure 4-10.

3.
Position the retaining bracket as shown below in Figure 4-11,
and tighten with the mounting screw.
