CO Line ring assignment, Class of Service and Extension Class of Service are activated by
setting the system into one of two modes of service (
Service Mode
) - Day and Night. A
third setting in this programming parameter which allows the programmer to set the sys-
tem for “
Time Switching mode
” (MBC 4-07). When the system is placed into
Time Switch-
ing mode
the system automatically adjust the
Service Mode
from Day to Night.
The
Timed Switching Mode
(MBC 4-07) will follow a seven day, twenty-four hour schedule
that will automatically switch the system from day to night mode, or night to day mode.

The Service Mode can also be adjusted using the System Administrator
access (F#0) and password.
•
The Attendant assigned extension (04-03) may also adjust the Service
Mode using the Day/Night mode code (Feature 63) with the attendant exten-
sion password.
•
The Attendant Day/Night Service Mode code can be programmed on an
available Feature Button, but it will only function at the attendant (MBC 4-03)
or alternate attendant (MBC 4-04) extensions.
•
The Programmed button may contain the password for one touch day/night
mode operation.
