Conditions
1.
When an extension is locked it can only make intercom calls; answer and retrieve calls
on hold are not affected.
2.
If a user forgets their password it may be retrieved via the system database administra-
tion.
3.
The programmed Attendant’s Private Password is used to enter Attendant Administra-
tion.
4.
If a CO Line or CO Line call is attempted from a locked telephone, error tone will be
heard and the display will show “PHONE LOCKED”.
5.
The Phone Lock feature code may be programmed on a Flexible Feature Button.
Privacy
All calls in the system are considered Private. However, in some cases, it is desirable to
allow other extensions to join in on an existing CO Line conversation. Therefore, each CO
Line may select between privacy and Privacy Release (MBC 02-LN-16). Care should be
taken when disabling Privacy because some automatic features, such as Last Number
Redial, System and extension Speed Dial and Saved Number Redial to name a few, may
accidentally dial over the existing conversation.
Conditions
1.
Monitor can be used to listen-in on existing conversations.
2.
Intrusion can be used to Barge-in on existing conversations.
3.
If Intrusion is set to “Y” another extension will be able to enter in an monitor another
extension’s conversation.
