Conditions
1.
Calls that are forwarded or transferred to voice mail, if no mailbox number is entered
(In-Band) the call will be routed to the voice mail main greeting (e.g., Auto Attendant
greeting.)
2.
If no voice mail channels are available at the time a call is placed the call into voice mail
will hear ring-back tone until a port is available.
3.
Heavy voice channel use can impact message indication updates.
4.
When VM messages are waiting, the Auxiliary Lamp will flash.
5.
The voice mail code (
Feature
64
) can be programmed on any available Flexible Fea-
ture Button.
6.
When the voice mail code is programmed on a Feature Button, the associated LED will
flash when VM messages are waiting.
7.
When a call is forwarded to a voice mailbox, the Feature Button will flash green, indicat-
ing that the call may be monitored, similar to an answer machine, and if desired, the
call may be answered.
Volume Control
The digital speakerphone is equipped with a volume control that is used to adjust the vari-
ous volume settings of the telephone. The following functions can be adjusted:

Background Music
•
Paging
•
Headset Mode
•
Speakerphone
•
Handset
•
Ringer volume
Adjustment for each function is made while that function is in use. The digital phone
remembers the volume level selected for each function the next time that function is used.
The Ringer volume adjustments allow for 4 (four) volume levels.
Whenever the various mode is active, press the Volume UP or DOWN Keys as necessary.
The volume for this mode/function is now set.
