6.4Resource

This chapter defines each of the parameters of the system Resource data category, and

lists the factory setting and other possible settings that can be selected. During Display

Menu programming scroll through the menu options until you are at program “Resource”.

To enter the Resource Programming area press the “

show

” key.

Scheme

MBC - 4-01

Ring Scheme is used to customize the ring cadence of the system. This setting will affect

CO Line and Intercom ring cadences.

Letter

Type

MBC - 4-02

Letter type is used to customize the characters for the messaging and name in display fea-

tures. Beyond the normal letters and numbers that may be used for display, there are spe-

cialized characters that can be used. This is used to accommodate special characters and

language requirements. When programming characters to be displayed for text messages

or names in the display, the dial pad key “1” is used to select the character desired. The

Letter Type database parameter is used to select the scheme of special characters that will

be used when the user inputs the data using the “1” key. Use the table for mapping of

which characters are used in each scheme.
