6.3Call Handling

This chapter defines each of the parameters of the Call Handling programming parameters,

and lists the factory setting and other possible settings that can be selected During Display

Menu programming scroll through the menu options until you are at program “Call Han-

dling”. To enter the Call Handling Programming area press the “

show

” key.

Intrusion

MBC - 3-01

All conversations are considered private. However, on occasion it maybe necessary to listen

to, or join in on an existing conversation. When set to “Y” an extension with a higher Class

of Service (COS) will have the ability to “Intrude” on the conversation. COS 0 is the highest

and 9 the lowest, Extension with equal COS’s are blocked from intrusion. (See Extension

Monitor COS - 1-ext-03 - in Extension Programming)

When set to “Y” (Yes) an Intrusion Tone is played whenever an extension intrudes on

another extensions conversation. When set to “N” (no) no tone will be played. Be sure to

verify all laws regulating this feature before it is disabled.
