MBC - 6-02

The system is equipped with 8 hunt groups, each can have 24 members. There are three 

(3) types of hunt groups:

•

 Linear—Stations ring in the order that they are programmed. If a member in the 

group is busy, the next available member will ring, if all members are busy, the caller 
will hear ringing while they waits in queue for a hunt group extension to become 
available.

•

 All Ring—All stations ring simultaneously.

•

 VM—voice mail (This is a system specific designation for voice mail use only. 

Only Hunt Group 6 can be designated as the Voice Mail Hunt Group.) 

Hunt groups provide a way to link extensions together for handling callers as a group. Calls 

can be programmed to ring directly or be transferred into a hunt group. There are pseudo 

extension numbers assigned to these hunt groups so that they can be dialed directly.

Data Range: Groups: 1—9

Group Type: Hunt / All / VM

Group Members 01~24: any extension or voice mail port (An extension can be a member 

of more than one hunt group.)
