Colour Output
The Colour Output menu, GRAPHICS: COLOUR OUTPUT, allows
you to control XANTÉ TrueColour, color management modules, and
color profile use.
XANTÉ TrueColour
When selected, the XANTÉ TrueColour option enables the
linearization feature in XANTÉ Command Center. Linearization
brings out details that can be lost when printing at higher line screens
or when dark photos are scanned. TrueColour calibration provides
predictable, consistent, and reproducible color matching between the
XANTÉ Colour ScreenWriter printer and other CMYK devices.
Set XANTÉ TrueColour using the GRAPHICS: COLOUR OUTPUT
configuration menu.
Direct
When selected, the Direct option turns off the printer’s built-in
CMMs (Color Management Modules).
Set the Direct option using the GRAPHICS: COLOUR OUTPUT
configuration menu.
Press Profiling
When selected, the Press Proofing option enables the printer’s built-
in CMM profile.
Set Press Proofing using the GRAPHICS: COLOUR OUTPUT
configuration menu.
Color Profile
The Color Profile menu, GRAPHICS: COLOUR PROFILE, contains
three submenus for controlling color profiles: Source, Destination,
and Intent.
