REMOVING THE BASKET

Electrical Shock Hazard

Disconnect power before servicing.

Replace all parts and panels before
operating.

Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.

WARNING

1.

Unplug washer or disconnect power.

2.

Turn off the water supply to the washer.

3.

Remove the top cover from the washer
and lean it back against a wall (see page
4-2 for the procedure).

4.

Remove the 5/16

″

hex-head screw from

the side of the agitator.

6.

Unsnap the tub ring at the four locations
and remove the ring.

5.

Pull up on the agitator and remove it from
the drive shaft.

NOTE:

It may take some

force to remove the agitator from the shaft.
