ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS

this power tool. Incorrectly sized discs cannot

be adequately guarded or controlled. Threaded

mounting of discs must match the spindle thread.

For discs mounted by flanges, the arbour hole of

the disc must fit the locating diameter of the flange.

Discs that do not match the mounting hardware

of this power tool will run out of balance, vibrate

excessively and may cause loss of control. Do not

use a damaged disc. Before each use, inspect the

disc. If this power tool or its disc is dropped, inspect

for damage or install an undamaged disc. After

inspecting and installing a disc, position yourself and

bystanders away from the plane of the disc and run

this power tool at maximum no-load speed for one

minute. Damaged discs will normally break apart

during this test time. Regularly clean this power

tool’s air vents. The motor’s fan will draw the dust

inside the housing and excessive accumulation of

powdered metal may cause electrical hazards.

STORE POWER TOOLS.

Store power tools out of reach of children and

not allow the handling of power tools to people

unfamiliar with the tools or these instructions.

Power tools are dangerous in the hands of

untrained users.

MAINTENANCE.

Check moving parts for misalignment or binding,

there are no broken parts or other conditions that

may affect the operation of power tools. Power tools

are repaired before use when they are damaged.

Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained

power tools. Use power tools, accessories and

tool tips, etc. according to these instructions and

in the manner provided for the particular type of

power tool, taking into account the conditions work

and work to develop. The use of the power tool for

applications other than those intended could result

in a dangerous situation. Please check your power

tool serviced by a Werku

®

  official  repair  service

using only identical replacement parts. This will

ensure the safety of the power tool is maintained.

CHECK CONDITION.

Make sure that all the screws in the wall chaser are

perfectly tightened. In cold climates or when the wall

chaser has not been used for a period, allow the wall

chaser to warm up by leaving it to run empty for a

few minutes, to ensure that all internal components

are perfectly lubricated. Make sure that the possible

installed accessories are perfectly fitted in place.

BEFORE STARTING WORK.

Make sure that the wall chaser is firmly supported

before using. Check that no one is standing

beneath you when using the wall chaser in high

areas. Keep your hands away from all moving

parts of the wall chaser.

DURING THE OPERATION.

Do not leave the wall chaser operating without

having it firmly fixed. Only turn it on when you are

sure you have full control over it. Do not point the

wall chaser at anyone while in use. When operating

the wall chaser will produce vibrations. The screws

may gradually come loose, and possibly cause faults

or accidents. Keep your hands away from all moving

parts of the wall chaser.

AT FINISH WORKING.

Do not touch the possible accessories installed in

the wall chaser after use. It may be hot and cause

burns. Some materials worked with may contain

chemicals or toxic components. Avoid inhaling

these substances or allowing them to come into

contact with your skin. Use PPE designed to

prevent and protect against incidents of this kind.

OTHER SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.

1) Maintain a firm grip on this power tool and position

your body and arm to allow you to resist kickback

forces. Always use auxiliary handle, if provided, for

maximum control over kickback or torque reaction

during start-up. The operator can control torque

reactions or kickback forces, if proper precautions

are taken. 2) Never place your hand near the rotating

disc. Rotating disc may kickback over your hand.

3) Do not position your body in the area where this

power tool will move if kickback occurs. Kickback

will propel this power tool in direction opposite to the

rotating disc´s movement at the point of snagging. 4)

Use special care when working corners, sharp edges

etc. Avoid bouncing and snagging the rotating disc.

Corners, sharp edges or bouncing have a tendency

to snag the rotating disc and cause loss of control or

kickback. 5) Do not attach woodcarving rotating discs

or toothed saw discs. Such discs create frequent

kickback and loss of control. 6) Do not use an

oversized rotating disc. Follow the ecommendations

of Werku

®

when selecting a rotating disc. A larger

rotating disc presents a laceration hazard and may

cause snagging, tearing of the disc or kickback.
