G8 Stitch Head Maintenance Kit Instructions

Reset the Stitch Counter

For GUI software V2.3a onward:

At ‘Operator’ access level, the menu displays counters for the number of books,
sheets and stitches. At ‘Service’ access level, the menu also displays counters
for the number of gate, stitch, form and trim cycles.
You must reset the stitch counter and the stitch-cycle counter when the stitch-
head is serviced.
To reset the stitch counter and the stitch-cycle counter:
• Select the ‘Service’ access level. The code is 1973.
• Touch and hold 'Maintenance Reset'. A red line appears. The red line fills

from left to right.

• Hold 'Maintenance Reset' until the red line reaches the right-hand side.
