3 - Fit the New Parts - Replace the Clincher Points

G8 Stitch Head Maintenance Kit Instructions

Remove the clincher fixing screws. See

FIGURE 3:14.

Remove the clincher assembly
from the clincher frame.

Put the clincher assembly face
down on a flat surface.

Face down is where the clincher
back plate is on top.

Separate the clincher back plate
from the clincher front plate.

Remove paper dust or debris from
the inside of the clincher assembly.

Remove and discard the clincher
points.

[3000K/8000K Only]

• Inspect the end of the clincher

slide where the slide touches
the clincher points.

• If wear can be seen, then

reverse the clincher slide.

• If both ends of the clincher slide

are worn, then replace the
clincher slide with one from the
